Abstract
This document is a comprehensive landscape architecture thesis focused on the design and development of the grounds for Whitehead Road Elementary School in Athens, Georgia. Developed as a Senior Terminal Problem for the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Georgia and commissioned by the Clarke County Board of Education to create a landscape plan for a newly constructed elementary school. The idea was to emphasize learning through direct experience in natural settings, supporting modern educational trends, and fostering interaction and development through community integration.
