NED-2 is a robust, intelligent, goal-driven ecosystem management decision support system that integrates a wide variety of modeling tools. These tools include vegetation growth and yield models, wildlife models, silvicultural models, GIS, and visualization tools. Integrating growth and yield models is one of the key elements in the NED- 2 system. Without its integration goal analysis for projected data is impossible.
