Abstract

In this thesis, I examine the alliance formed between the American Indian Movement and Irish nationalists from 1968 to present day. Through a series of public displays of support and visits by AIM delegations to Northern Ireland and the Republican of Ireland, it is clear that the members of these movements found common cause through a sense of shared historical experience.
