Abstract
Healthcare access for undocumented people has been a public health concer. This study uses interviews with community health workers, clinicians, and organizers to assess the effectiveness of access to COVID-19 information and resources. The participants in this study used sketch maps to identify areas where people could recieve COVID-19 related care, and whether or not they recommended those places to undocumented people. This study resounds with existing resourch that documentation status has a significant impact on people's ability to access care. This research also shows that undocumented people have spent much of the COVID-19 era seeking more and accurate information regarding care, tests, and vaccines. Finally, this research demonstrates the importance of networks. These networks help communicate important information, not only to undocumented people but also between clinics. These findings indicate that there is a great need for decision-maker awareness of the experiences of undocumented people for policy. These findings also indicate the need for greater communication networks between health service providers.
