Abstract
This study examined the feasibility of creating a statewide list of all active emergency food assistance programs using the administrative data from all Food Banks in Georgia. This study provides unprecedented documentation on the food bank administrative data, data management practices, and procedures necessary for collecting, cleaning, and merging a statewide list of emergency food assistance programs. The findings of this study prove that compiling a statewide list of emergency food assistance programs is feasible with effective strategies and partnerships and inform future research, program, and policy options to improve access to emergency food assistance programs for low-income Georgians.
