Abstract
This thesis is a comprehensive landscape architecture terminal project proposing the design of a multi-use recreational facility for the University of Georgia. The University of Georgia identified a growing need for recreational facilities for students, faculty, and staff. The proposed site is located near the Forest Outdoor Recreation Research Laboratory on the south campus, encompassing rolling fields and woodlands. The design objectives are to create a balanced recreational environment that supports general leisure, intramural sports, camping, and research. Preserve open space and prevent overdevelopment and integrate natural features like woodlands and topography into the design.
