Abstract
This thesis serves as a capstone project integrating design, construction, and planning skills, it presents a detailed analysis and development plan for the city of Royston, aiming to guide its future growth. Royston is located in Northeast Georgia, intersecting Franklin, Hart, and Madison counties, it contains rich agricultural land and proximity to Hartwell Dam ensure power supply, and its population (1950) was around 2,000 in town; and 76,000 in surrounding area. The project focused on community redevelopment, a relatively new area for landscape architects at the time. The study includes zoning, traffic, housing, recreation, industrial attraction, and public services.
