Abstract

Teachers do an electroshock survey of fish on the Cullasaja River. Dr. Bill McLarney, Biomonitoring Program Director for the Land Trust for the Little Tennessee, identifies and describes an endemic crayfish(Cambarus georgiae), a nocturnal predator rock bass (Ambloplites rupestris), a greenfin darter (Etheostoma chlorobranchium), and a mountain brook lamprey (Ichthyomyzon greeleyi), among others.
