Precision turfgrass management (i.e. site-specific management) involves applying inputs (such as water, cultivation, etc.) only where, when, and in the amount needed to foster a more sustainable approach to managing natural turfgrass areas. This project used intensive data sampling to generate geo-spatial maps that can be used to develop a site-specific management plan for the intramural fields and certain grass areas on campus at the University of Georgia.

The data that is presented is based solely from information collected with the Toro Precision Sense 6000 (PS6000); which is a mobile multi-sensor device used for rapid data collection of large turf areas. The data and the maps presented should be thoroughly evaluated, and used in conjunction by someone with first-hand knowledge of the evaluated turf areas, to implement the site-specific management.
