Abstract

Many businesses are adopting Web Service technologies to provide greater access to their applications. Due to the fast-paced E-Commerce requirements, more and more businesses prefer to only creating their core applications, and outsourcing the non-critical applications, or making use of their partners applications directly. There is a growing requirement to build complex processes which may include Web Services supplied by the different partners. However, there are two main difficulties in building such Web Processes - 1) the current syntactic search mechanism is ineffective to find out the highly suitable services and 2) there are not many Process designing tools which allow dynamic binding of partner services. In this chapter, we present a solution for both the problems based on WSDL-S, and obtain a satisfying result based on our evaluation.
