The matter of accurately predicting political decision-making under circumstances of risk is investigated in this research. Other factors such as institutionalized perceptions and realist power concerns are incorporated in the decision-making process. This research has developed a methodology given these parameters to evaluate the decision-making process of the United States and Iran in the context of the international nuclear controversy.
