How subdivisions learn: promoting positive change in post-WWII suburban residential neighborhoods

This thesis investigates the history of suburbia, the problems associated with post-WWII suburban neighborhoods, possible alternatives, and identifies possible alternatives for future change. Select alternatives are conceptually applied to an existing neighborhood in Athens, GA, with the results reviewed for positive and negative impacts to the neighborhood.
