Exploring the perceptions of the "internationality" of Chechen violence

This thesis is an exploratory study into the perceptions that a Russian speaking immigrant community has about Chechen violence. It sought to determine the various influences that affect those perceptions. It concentrated specifically, but not exclusively, on media influence of perception. This study combines both qualitative and quantitative methodology to explore the perceptions of the study group.
